Dear Sirs,

I came across your article quite by accident. I receive the stats for my sites which includes the referring site. I saw your unfamiliar URL http://www.seekgod.ca/roodkaraite.htm and dropped by to see.

 

I do not know Mr. Michael Rood personally but I do know Nehemia Gordon. Mr. Gordon had shared with us what he intended to say at this meeting with Michael Rood about, "Was Yahshua a Karaite?"

 

He asked our opinions as to whether he should attend and speak at this conference. There were several differing opinions and mine was not to attend and not to speak as I saw nothing to be gained by it but Christian propaganda.

 

I fear Michael has proven to be to Mr. Gordon and the Karaites, what Sha’ul/Paul is/was to your Jesus. Paul simply corrupted for his own benefit what your New Testament proclaims Jesus said.

 

To speak of a Christian, a Messianic etc as a Karaite is a contradiction in terms, a ridiculous oxymoron. Anyone who claims the ‘Pagan-Christian God’ as savior is by definition not a Karaite...  How convenient this is. Support the Karaite Movement to your Christian audience as the only ‘Jewish’ Movement for only the ‘Jewish people’, thus reassuring the Christian audience that Karaite Judaism has nothing to offer them and that they are so blessed to be under the blood of a human sacrifice...  We need those who will proclaim YHWH King, Creator and Savior.  We do not need those who would proclaim ‘a false god’ to take YHWH’s place....  Michael Rood is correct in this, if that is what he is saying. He also must say that calling on the name of a ‘pagan man-god’, will doom you to death.

 

You named me as webmistress of http://qumran.com and that is correct but Qumran Bet Community is not a member of the ‘Sacred Name Movement’, unless by that, you mean the Qodesh Shem of YHWH.

I also am webmistress of http://karaites-usa.org and you are welcome to come and be informed.

Dear Juanita, Thank you for writing and for reading my articles. You have many misconceptions amongst your correspondence including the concept that Michael Rood is Christian. Everything in the articles is documented and quoted from source. Regardless, I had written about sacred name/ qumran.com etc back in 1999. Your site is not new to me.

In fact what is interesting is that your life is an example of following after every wind of doctrine, from Baptist, Assemblies of God, sacred name, you even posted to Quaker forums, and now you have come to fully reject the New Testament and Jesus Christ by embracing the Karaite movement. Your choice of course. But it merely demonstrates much of what I write about. And what Scripture speaks of .
